Lucan Lodge is a modern 72 bedded care facility situated just outside the busy County Dublin village of Lucan which is easily accessed by bus or car. Lucan Lodge is designed to meet the needs of the older person in a pleasant and comfortable surrounding. Lucan Lodge provides help and support to older persons and their families who have different needs and abilities.
The original house was built in the 1600's and was part of the Lucan Demesne which is now the Italian Embassy. It has had a coloured and varied history and once housed the Irish Free State Army. In 1986 it was developed into a Nursing Home and was completly refurbished and extended in 2006.
